A Look into Edge O’ Beyond Lingerie

Edge O’ Beyond (EOB) is a Black-owned, London-based lingerie brand that unites delicate jewellery with the most beautiful lace. Although EOB started as a lingerie brand, the collection now includes swimwear and nightwear.

I’ve frequently purchased from this brand over the past 2 years, often through the official Depop shop, where the company hosts its own sample sale. Some of the pieces shown in this post are from my most recent orders.

All of the items come wrapped in tissue paper with the brand’s logo sticker securing it. In the past, I’ve also received a branded card and promo booklets that show the season’s current catalogue; however, I haven’t received those with any of my latest orders.

EOB features several styles with adjustable straps on the bra band as well as knickers with adjustable side straps. These have been a blessing with my ever changing – increasing – weight. The pink, purple, and blue combo below is the Amelie bra with the Anwulika thong; the bra features an adjustable band and soft cup design, whilst the thong has a strappy minimalist design.

The silver set featured is the Barbie bra paired with the Emma brief. The bra has adjustable straps on the band and completely sheer front; the briefs have a mesh back and cheeky cut, matching the aesthetic of the bra.

The red sleep set, shown below, is the Karis cami with Melody short. The shorts are still available on the Edge O’ Beyond site in black and a similar satin cami is available in black and ivory.  They are extremely soft and lightweight; perfect for the summer, super sexy, with a black lace accent!

You’ll notice none of the pieces, although they match, are from the same range. That’s because the same lace pattern or fabric is sometimes used in different ranges. When browsing the Depop shop, keep that in mind; look at the actual pattern, not just the name of the style.

It’s important to me to not only feature Black-owned brands, but also brands that are genuinely contributing to change and supporting the BLM movement. EOB is currently donating 20% of sales from their Anwulika range:

EOB are committed to making a difference. 20% of all Anwulika sales will be donated to the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, established by Stephen’s mother after his murder in a racist attack in 1993. Too many continue to struggle to succeed because of discrimination, and we feel so deeply that real change must come.
