Although I’ve prepared photos for a handful of posts, I haven’t been able to bring myself to write for months. In this cycle of lockdowns, I’ve lost motivation – not just with creating content, but in every aspect. Now, I’m trying to ease back into blogging with the hopes that I’ll get inspired in doing so. Perhaps, at the very least, I’ll have a moment of peace enjoying an old hobby. Even this post has sat idle in my drafts for two months. In some ways, knowing that has made me even more reluctant to finish it. However, that’s reality; I’m just not motivated or inspired at the moment. I’m sure most people can relate given the past year. At this point, I’m just trying to be comfortable with giving myself time to breathe and finding my peace, whatever that may be.
Initially, this was going to be a hair piece, but I’ll post that separately. For me, this stands on its own and serves as a reminder to be kinder to myself, go at my own pace, and accept that that pace can change. Maybe – hopefully – that helps someone else too.
