Ace Beauté was founded by Niye Attang in 2016, initially selling lashes. Since then, the brand has expanded to include eyeshadow, face palettes, and false nails. The Oceanic palette is one of the brand’s most popular products, offering a mix of green and blue shimmer and matte shadows.
- Bora Bora – A metallic light cornflower blue
- Jellyfish – A metallic golden green
- Mykonos – A metallic aquamarine
- Blue Clam – A matte cobalt blue
- Pacific – A matte deep teal
- Bali – A matte Cornflower Blue
- Fiji – A matte aquamarine
- Turtle – A matte deep forest green
- Marina – A metallic blackened teal
- Bay – A metallic medium blue
- Anemone – A metallic olive green
- Algae – A matte bright green
- Seaweed – A matte olive green
- Seagrass – A matte medium green
- Lagoon – A matte deep navy blue
I’ve not used this palette yet so I can’t review the shadows. However, after swatching them, I do wish the metallic colours were more reflective. Most of the mattes swatched without a problem, with the exception of Bali, which needed to be built up. All of the swatches are on bare skin and done with a finger.
Ace Beauté is available on the brand’s site and on Beauty Bay in the UK. The Oceanic palette retails for $38.99/£29.00.
