Empties: Update #20 – Moisturisers

Caudalie Grape Water: This is a nice refreshing spritz. I use it before applying oils or balms. I also use it on top of makeup. It’s one of the few products I use everyday. (available: Caudalie)

January Labs Retexturizing Night Cream: I didn’t like this and actually struggled to finish it. I ended up using it on my hands and arms. Because of the thick consistency, I found it hard to add to my routine. Products like Sunday Riley Good Genes and Farmacy Honeymoon Glow are lighter and I find them easier to use and fast absorbing. January Labs might work for you, if you are using this cream as your final step. (available: Cult Beauty)

January Labs Moisture Balancing Lotion: This is a nice lightweight moisturiser, but again I used it more as hand cream. It was nothing spectacular, and I rarely reached for it. Of all the January Labs products, the only one I’d repurchase is the mask – Power Peel Exfoliant. (available: Cult Beauty)

Tata Harper Restorative Eye Cream: It’s a beautiful eye cream, but the price is a deterrent. With eye creams, I find that they either moisturise or don’t, and in even worse occasions cause milia or extreme dryness. This one is in the former category, it’s moisturising without being too heavy. I never had a bad reaction to this one. (available: Sephora, Cult Beauty)
