Empties: Update #18 – Skincare (Cleansers)

I have several skincare products to post in the empties, acids, oils and moisturisers are upcoming in separate posts. I thought I’d start off with my first step in the routine: cleansers.

Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser (available here): The Indie Lee cleansers are just ok for me, and at times, they’re even a bit stripping. They smell nice, but that’s about all.

Indie Lee Rosehip Cleanser (available here): See comments above.

Murad Essential-C Cleanser (available here): I got this in one of the reward sample sets from Sephora. It’s actually really nice, cleanses without stripping, and has a light citrus scent. I reached for this more than the Indie Lee cleansers.

Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip (available here): This is a nice cleanser for when I’m breaking out. It works well with the Clarisonic, which in my experience is rare with more natural cleansers. I hate using Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser with the Clarisonic, but some people love it. Ceramic Slip rinses clean and doesn’t leave a residue on my brush.

Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser (available here): This rinses clean with water, no cloth needed so it’s great in the morning and evening. It can remove light makeup, but I wouldn’t waste it on that. It’s a nice second cleanse when my face is a bit dry. Apart from my Emma Hardie makeup remover, this was the only cleanser I took with me on holiday.
