Use up the Stash: Update #6 (Mini Reviews Included)

This wasn't the most successful month when it comes to using up the stash, but I still managed to finish a few products. My hair is currently straightened so I'm not using very many products.

Bobeam Vashti Ayurvedic Shampoo Bar:
I've reviewed Bobeam before, but this particular bar, I used for washing my makeup brushes. Check out my review here for hair use, and here for cleaning my brushes.

Curls Curl Ecstasy Hair Tea Deep Conditioner:
Check out my review here.

Dirty Works Collagen On Call Overnight Facial Lift:
This isn't a hair product, but I've finished it so I'm including it. I bought this on a whim when I ran out of moisturizer. It was cheap, on sale, and had better ingredients than the other products. It's moisturizing without being too heavy. I'd purchase it again.

Eden Bodyworks Coconut Shea All Natural Cleansing CoWash:
This is the first product I've tried from the Eden Bodyworks line. It has good slip and is very moisturizing. I was ab…

Items on eBay

Just wanted to throw out there that I do have a few items on eBay for sale. It's currently just a few jeans and a pair of heels. To find me, search by seller, 'KinksOfNature'. I'm only doing UK shipping right now. I have a ton of partially-used hair products that I cannot use or don't work for me. If any of my UK readers would be interested in me posting them, please comment below or email me ( I'll do a clear-out sale and just put a bunch of items up for auction, but only if there's enough interest. If you take a look at my past reviews, the items I don't like will most likely be sold. Let me know if there's any interest.

Review: Kinky-Curly Stellar Strands Hydrating Deep Treatment

This year, Kinky-Curly debuted a new deep conditioner, Stellar Strands. I was surprised to find it in the UK so quickly after the initial release date, but it is here. Too bad I don't like it.

Product Claims: The ultimate hydrating deep treatment! Enriched with Argan Oil & Macadamia Oil, Stellar Strands (TM) will take your curls from status quo to stellar. When used regularly you will notice improved elasticity and reduced breakage while it rejuvenates and moisturizes dry, brittle hair.

Ingredients: Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Hydroxypropyl Guar, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Argania (argan) Spinosa Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Biotin, Silk Amino Acids, Collagen Amino Acids, Glycerin, Panthenol, Polysorbate 60, Phenoxyethanol, Natural Fragrance.
Thoughts: I purchased this after looking at the ingredients and product description thinking it would be a good moisturizing conditioner with a hint of protein. I was wrong. This did not moisturize my hair a…

Update: Bobeam & Makeup Brushes (Before & After Photos)

What Next?

This is going to be an update of sorts. The string of reviews is getting a bit redundant for me. Not only that, it takes a while to test a product. Unless I absolutely hate it the first time, I use half, if not most, of a product before posting a full review. While I do enjoy sharing product information, I want to implement more variation, but I'm out of ideas and to be honest...downright bored with my hair.
I am planning to straighten soon but am dreading the hours of effort to do so. I did recently receive the Agadir line of products and am excited to try those in conjunction with my Sedu. Those are the only new items in my stash.
The Viviscal update is coming, I promise. I think the length check is pointless since I don't know my monthly growth prior to taking the supplements. I have nothing to compare it to. However, average growth per year is 6 inches and I'm going to do another check at the 2-month mark so I'll compare that growth to an inch. More details to come…

Use up the Stash: Update #5 (Mini Reviews Included)

Another month filled with more empties!

Afroveda CocoLatte Moisture Mask:
I used to love this for styling blown out hair, but I think it's gone bad. It smells weird now. Similar to that egg-y smell Splinta24 had described in one of her old videos. I won't be repurchasing.

ApHogee Curlific! Texture Treatment: Check out my first impressions here and my full review here.

Curl Junkie Repair Me! Reconstructive Hair Treatment:
I'm just realizing that I haven't reviewed this yet, but a full review will be posted in the next couple of weeks. I love this! It's an amazing intense protein treatment, no mess, no stench. The only con is the price, but a little goes a long way. Definite repurchase.

Hawaiian Silky Moroccan Argan Oil Hydrating Sleek Sleek Edge:
Check out my full review here.

John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo, Conditioner, and Deep Conditioner (Sample Set):
The shampoo was ok, and the conditioner did nothing for me, but the deep conditioner worked well. It had good…
