The Itch to Color

Crazy Colors Semi-Permanent Hair Color Cream in Bordeaux
Don't get me wrong, I like my current hair color, but something new is calling me! I've had this Shea Moisture Reddish Blond color in for nearly 8 months now, the longest I've gone without changing my color. I'm ready for a change.

I had originally intended to pick up one of the Adore semi-permanent colors, but thought my old favorite Bordeaux was a bit darker than what I wanted - red with a slight purple tint. Based on the in-store swatches, Crazy Colors Semi-Permanent Hair Color Cream in Bordeaux was exactly what I was going for. Now looking at it, it seems more fuchsia than red. Nevertheless, I'll be trying this out before the new year!
...right after I straighten.

Mini Review: Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner (UK Version)

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner
Almost everyone raves about Aussie 3 Minute Miracle (3MM) Reconstructor Deep Conditioner! Over and over it's hyped up across forums, YouTube, and the blogs. Well, maybe I tried the wrong one, but didn't do a thing for me!

Aussie 3MM has a thin consistency and reminded me of the likes of VO5 conditioners, but not as runny. It was so light, I had to use most of the bottle (250 ml) for one application. I couldn't detangle with it; there was barely any slip. As a deep conditioner, it just did not perform; as lightweight rinse-out though, yes.

One thing I did like was the fragrance, a sweet floral. The fragrance is light and doesn't linger.

I won't make the mistake of trying this formulation again.

Review: Taliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifier

When I moved to the UK, I wasn't able to carry many of my old faithful, tried-and-true products. My hair, this weather, and the water just do not agree! While searching for an alternative to Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Moisture Mist, I found Taliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifier.

Thoughts: This is a nice daily moisturizer. Though …

Review: Bee Mine BEE•U•Ti•FUL Moisturizing Deep Conditioner

I finally got around to using and finishing the Bee Mine BEE•U•Ti•FUL Moisturizing Deep Conditioner.

Product Claims: This deep conditioner is made with creamy and emollient Cupuacu butter, to promote smooth and soft hair while boosting the rebirth of the hair's natural moisture and elasticity. Highly beneficial for dry and damaged hair. BEE•U•Ti•FUL also provides some protection from damaging UV-A and UV-B rays and helps to restore shine and moisture to stressed hair.

Ingredients: Distilled water, Cetearyl Alcohol, BTMS (mild emulsifier), 100% Organic Unrefined Shea Butter , 100% Organic Coconut Oil, Cupuacu Butter, Calendula Extract, Chamomile Extract, Organic Raw Honey, Optiphen Paraben Free Preservative, Fragrance (Phthalate Free).

BEE•U•Ti•FUL is good, but not amazing, and the price isn't much of incentive to repurchase. I was really expecting to be wowed. I've used drugstore products for less and gotten the same, if not better, results. I was only able to get…
