Review: Curl Me Crazy Handmade Zesty Sea Salt Scrub
***Note: Curl Me Crazy Handmade provided me with a free sample of this product to review, and I was under no obligation to review it if I so chose. Nor was I under any obligation to write a positive review.***
I've written about and reviewed products in the Curl Me Crazy Handmade line before. She has since added new products to the line including the Zesty Sea Salt Scrub.
Ingredients: Dead Sea Salt, Sweet Almond Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Blended Herb Mix, Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tangerine, Grapefruit Essential Oil.
Thoughts: This is a mild scrub, and I can use it everyday without irritating my skin. There's more oil than salt, which contributes to it being a bit more on the gentle side. After rinsing the scrub off, there's light oil residue, which I don't mind because I typically would apply a butter or oil after showering.
This zesty scrub has a fragrance to match the name. Citrus rinds and herbs are actually visible in the product, but it doesn't affect the application.
My one con for this product: I wish it were a larger size; I have a 4oz. Since it is so gentle, I use it everyday or every other day. It lasted for about 2.5 weeks.
My price tag came off, but I'm sure the scrub is under $12. I will update the post when I have the exact price.
Curl Me Crazy Handmade Zesty Sea Salt Scrub is available in Afrotique Hair Bahamas located at the entrance of Kennedy Subdivision on Soldier Road upstairs in the hot pink two-story building. Contact: +1-242-323-7979 for more information. If you're in the area, this is definitely a product line worth trying.
Would I repurchase? Maybe. I already have a staple body scrub that I love love LOVE, but it is isn't sold locally. If I needed something with a quickness, this would be an option.
