First Impressions: Whamisa Organic Flowers Toner Deep Rich

In the past year, I've completely changed my approach to skincare, focusing on better ingredients that target my needs. About a month and a half ago, I had another bad break out, as a result of stress, lack of sleep, poor eating and inadequate water consumption. Every bad thing you can do that messes up your skin, I had done it, and my face showed it.

To expedite the clearing of my skin, I upped my acid toner usage and switched from Pixi Glow Tonic to Biologique Recerche P50 Lotion, which is a very strong and effective toner. So I wanted a moisturising toner to soothe my skin afterwards, and I came across the Whamisa toners in a Gothamista video (here). The ingredients list and reviews were so impressive it seemed like it might work as a post-acid hydrating step.

Ingredients:
*Aloe Maculata Leaf Extract (93.9%), Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, *Glycerin (0.9%), *Chrysanthemum Morifolium Flower Extract (0.5%), *Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract (0.5%), *Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil (0.5%), *Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil (0.5%), ***Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, ***Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract, ***Paeonia Suffruticosa Root Extract, Lithospermum Erythrorhizon Root Extract, *Helichrysum Arenarium Flower Extract (0.2%), Xanthan Gum, *Brassica Oleracea Italica (Broccoli) Extract (0.1%),*Lactobacillus/Chrysanthemum Sinense Flower Ferment Filtrate (0.1%), *Lactobacillus/ Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Ferment Filtrate (0.1%), *Lactobacillus/ Taraxacum Officinale (Dandelion) Rhizome/Root Ferment Filtrate (0.1%), Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Wood Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Oil, **Fragrance, d-Limonene, Linalol

(*Certified Organically Grown, **Natural Origin, ***Natural Preservative)

The ingredients include 97.4% organic ingredients, and the box lists the percentage for each of the organic ingredients. Another thing I appreciate about the packaging, on the bottom of each box, are the packaging and expiration dates. The label also has braille, which is something many companies are lacking.

Performance: I apply the Deep Rich toner using the 7 Skin Method. This involves applying 7 layers of a hydrating toner essence for ultimate moisture benefits. I use 2 drops for the first layer and 1 drop for each of the remaining 6 layers. After using this toner, I'm tempted to skip the rest of my skincare steps because the Deep Rich toner is just that moisturising. The texture is thicker than a normal toner, and more comparable to a light serum. It smells like Lush Dark Angels Fresh Cleanser, a sweet floral scent. I love it!

I've only used the toner a few times, but so far so good. I'll post a full review once I've used it for a few weeks.
