Empties: Update #15 (Mini Reviews Included)

I've been unintentionally hoarding a stash of empties. In an effort to cut down on the clutter, I'm finally posting about them. This post is mainly skincare, and I'll do another with hair and body products.

Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser:
This didn't work for me at all. It's supposed to be a warming gel cleanser, but "the warmth" was gone by the time my hands reached my face. It didn't cleanse well; I was still left with makeup residue on my face. Plus it stained my Clarisonic brush heads. I have one or two more sample bottles, but definitely not purchasing a full size.

CAOLION Premium Blackhead Steam Pore Pack:
I can't review this because it's separated and I've only used it twice. This is partially my fault because I just had it sitting in the drawer for few months. However, it was still within the time stated on the jar so I'm not particularly keen on trying it again.

CAOLION Premium Pore Original Pack:
I can't review this because it's dried out and I've only used it twice. This is partially my fault because I just had it sitting in the drawer for few months. However, it was still within the time stated on the jar so I'm not particularly keen on trying it again.

Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum: I'm about to finish my second bottle of this serum. Just holding out for a sale before I repurchase. I use it every morning. A bottle lasts about 6 months. (Available here)

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum: I love Drunk Elephant, but this is the one product in their line I've tried that does absolutely nothing for me. In order to get any effect from it I had to combine it with Good Genes. I know you have to shake it before use, and trust me, I was! Still, no results. Definitely not repurchasing.

Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate: I've gone through two of these now. It used to be a staple in my facial routine, but I've since switched to more natural products. I finished my last tube using it as hand cream and on my nose to prevent dryness or peeling whenever I got sick. I doubt I'll repurchase, but this is a good emollient.

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm: This is still my favourite cleansing balm. I currently have the jumbo size in my bathroom. That's how much I love it! A little goes a long way. My skin isn't dry or tight afterwards; and best of all, it removes all of my makeup, even resistant mascara.

GlamGlow Powermud Dual Cleanse Treatment: This is actually a really nice mask, my favourite from GlamGlow, but this jar barely gave me 4 uses! I don't buy GlamGlow anymore, I'm just finishing up the products I have left. Nothing against the brand, I just found products that worked better for me.

Herbivore Botanicals Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist:
This is a nice, refreshing spray. I used it on top of makeup and on my bare face. I've used it as a moisturiser and also when I need a spritz during the day. My only issue with it is the glass bottle, which makes it hard to transport. Not sure I'd repurchase this though, because I don't reach for sprays very much. (Available here)

January Labs Pure & Gentle Cleansing Gel:
I have been looking for a gentle foaming cleanser for my second PM cleanse. Unfortunately this one was too harsh and drying for my skin. Not repurchasing. (Available here)

January Labs Restorative Tonic Mist:
This is a good refresher, but because the nozzle doesn't have a fine mist, I could only use it when I wasn't wearing makeup. I use this as a toner and refresher spray. Not sure if I'd buy it again though, but it's a really good toner so maybe on sale. (Available here)

Nude Advanced Renewal Eye Complex:
I hadn't used a designated eye cream in probably over 2 years. Then I decided to give the Nude brand a try because of their ingredients and the reviews. Under my eyes were getting quite dry, and this helped to revitalise the area. It's a light, emollient-rich cream. Once applied, there is a tightening/tingling feeling that lasts a few seconds. It doesn't help with darkness, but I'd say it's improved the texture and moisture around my eyes. One bottle last me about 7 months using it twice a day. I might return to it one day, but I'm testing another eye cream at the moment.

Nude Perfect Cleanse Omega Cleansing Jelly: Another cleansing balm. I like this one, but not enough to repurchase. It's better than the Pixi one, but not as good as the Emma Hardie. The Omega Cleansing Jelly is more easily accessible though as I can get this on the ground in London.

Pixi + Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse:
This is an ok product, but I have other balm cleansers that I prefer and get better results from. The Solid Cleansing Oil has the texture of coconut oil. The Cleansing Cream feels like an oil-based cream. I used this in the morning or evenings when I hadn't worn makeup because it isn't a harsh cleanser, and sometimes I need a gentle cleanse.

Sunday Riley Good Genes:
I love this product but am constantly hunting for a less expensive product. It's a strong treatment and improves the overall look and texture of my skin, helping with breakouts and any resulting discoloration. I've gone through a 0.5oz and a 1oz bottle. I'm trying out other products currently, but will likely repurchase in the future. (Available here)
