Why I'm Loving Kinky-Curly Curling Custard...Again

This is a follow-up to a previous post. I mentioned that Kinky-Curly Curling Custard (KCCC) had returned to my stash, and it seems to be quickly heading for the HG list. So let's talk about why I am loving KCCC...again.

When I initially tried KCCC four years ago, I had purchased two 8oz jars from StockNGo. At the time, they were selling them for around $12 so with the discount code, I was able to get them for under $20 total. Less than a year later, StockNGo raised the price. Some forums say that Kinky-Curly (K-C) complained, and StockNGo was forced to raise the price. Whatever the case, you can't find KCCC for under $17 anywhere. There are never sales on K-C products,..at least I've certainly never seen any.

Nevertheless, KCCC has always worked well for me. Before I had the issue of having to use too much product (nearly half the jar for one application). Now, I've realised that my hair wasn't wet enough previously. I'm using much less product, but still getting great definition and hold. One thing' I've noticed is that my hair isn't really crunchy either when I use it. Whether this is due to my oil rinses or using less product, I'm not sure. I love the results that I get from KCCC and will eventually buy the 16oz jar.

I can get KCCC locally for £17.95 (8oz) or £30.95 (16oz). As soon as I finish some of my other gels, I'm getting the 16oz.
