Use up the Stash: Update #11 (Mini Reviews Included)
I haven't finished many products in the past few months, because I had the braids in for so long. Here are the few that I did manage to finish and some that I'm getting rid of because they're too old.
Afroveda Power Oasis: This is one of the products that is too old, and I go so much water in the jar the last time I used it, that I'm not comfortable using it anymore. There was only a little bit left so it wasn't much of a loss. This was an amazing product for moisture, but I won't be purchasing again. I'm not even sure if this product is still available. The last few times I checked, it was always out of stock.
Agadir Argan Oil Daily Volumizing Shampoo: It's a decent shampoo, I added some tea tree oil to help with my scalp issues and that worked well. I won't purchase this one, it was just ok for me. I'm a shampoo that isn't terribly drying, still cleanses, and helps with my scalp issues. (View my review of Agadir products here.)
Camille Rose Naturals Holiday Collection Nourishing Cream Hair Bath: This is a really nice deep conditioner, but unfortunately it's limited edition. That's the only reason I haven't repurchased it.
Kinky-Curly Stellar Strands Hydrating Deep Treatment: I rarely hate products, but this one was horrible on my hair. I used it twice, and I can't bring myself to use it again. It's a hydrating treatment, but it felt like it sucked all of the moisture out of my hair. I'm throwing it out. (View my review here.)
Shea Moisture African Black Soap Deep Cleansing Shampoo: This used to be an old-time, but it's not working for me anymore, which is frustrating because I've used it for years. I counted on this product, and I feel as though it's failed me. I need to find a new product and/or regimen for my scalp.
Uncle Funcky's Daughter Curly Magic Curl Stimulator: There are several posts on the blog about my love of this product. I've heard that UFD has brought back the original formula, but I haven't tried it yet. (View original review here, an update here on Hello Curly and my favourite combos for Curly Magic here.)
