Use up the Stash: Update #11 (Mini Reviews Included)

Image
I haven't finished many products in the past few months, because I had the braids in for so long. Here are the few that I did manage to finish and some that I'm getting rid of because they're too old.

Afroveda Power Oasis: This is one of the products that is too old, and I go so much water in the jar the last time I used it, that I'm not comfortable using it anymore. There was only a little bit left so it wasn't much of a loss. This was an amazing product for moisture, but I won't be purchasing again. I'm not even sure if this product is still available. The last few times I checked, it was always out of stock.

Agadir Argan Oil Daily Volumizing Shampoo:
It's a decent shampoo, I added some tea tree oil to help with my scalp issues and that worked well. I won't purchase this one, it was just ok for me. I'm a shampoo that isn't terribly drying, still cleanses, and helps with my scalp issues. (View my review of Agadir products here.)

Update on Life

I have been completely remiss in updating this blog. I don't even want to check when the last post was published because I know it was too long ago.

A lot has happened in the past few months... life happened. I just wasn't interested in blogging or much of anything for that matter. My hair was in braids for nearly six weeks when usually I'm ready to change my hair after two weeks! In fact, I miss those braids now, and if I weren't concerned about my edges, I'd put some in tomorrow.

I just needed time to reboot and get back to myself. If you follow me on Instagram, or are one of the few that have found me on Facebook, you know I went to The Bahamas in early April. It was a much needed holiday. The beauty of The Bahamas is like no other. I fall more in love with the beaches every time I go back. When I came back to London, I finally had my graduation ceremony for my Masters, which I completed last September.

The past two months have been great. Things are mellowing …
