Camille Rose Naturals Coconut Water Penetrating Hair Treatment
WOW! I just finished using Camille Rose Naturals Coconut Water Penetrating Hair Treatment for the first time, and so far I'm impressed. I shampooed with a shampoo bar, and then, I detangled with a rinse-out conditioner. Once I completely rinsed that, I wrapped my hair in a t-shirt for a couple minutes. Afterwards, I applied Coconut Water in sections. It didn't apply as smoothly as I'd like, but that was probably because my hair wasn't wet enough. It didn't take much product to fully coat my hair. Typically, I use anywhere from a third to a half of an 8oz jar to deep condition. I didn't need that much with this product. It really is concentrated like the packaging states.

After leaving Coconut Water on overnight, I rinsed in the morning with cold water. My hair was extremely soft. Although, the product had rinsed cleanly, my hair felt like I had already applied a leave-in and sealed. My hair was so s…

New by Camille Rose Naturals: Coconut Water Penetrating Hair Treatment

Image
A few days ago, my dear sister sent a vague message telling me that "CR's new DC is in the UK but not here yet." Say what!??? Camille Rose? New deep conditioner? Nah, can't be!

After the initial period of denial and a bit of searching on Facebook, I came across a photo of Coconut Water in a London-based store. The posts below the photo stated that it wasn't being released until April in select Target stores across the United States, but the address for the London store pictured was given. Of course, I figured I'd try my luck and head south for the first time. It was an excuse to explore London and if anything, scout new places to buy products even if I couldn't find this mysterious Coconut Water.

When I got to Zara's, there was only one left, and I quickly snatched it up!

Here are the product claims and ingredients.
Product Claims: Coconut Water Penetrating Hair Treatment combines super hydrating, thirst-quenching coconut water, aloe vera juice, tr…

Review: Crazy Colors Semi-Permanent Hair Color Cream in Bordeaux

Image
I applied Crazy Color in Bordeaux nearly 2-months ago, and the color is still there.

Product Claims: Crazy Color does not require the addition of peroxide. For optimal results, apply to pre-lightened hair.

Ingredients:
Aqua (Water), Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Distearoylethyl Hydroxyethylmonium Methosulfate, Ceteareth-30, Citric Acid, Formic Acid, Methylchloroisothiozolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Basic Blue 99, Basic Orange 31, Basic Red 51, Acid Red 52, Basic Yellow 87, HC Blue 15, D & C Red No. 33.

Thoughts:
At first I didn't care for the color, but now that I've grown to like it, I want it gone simply because I am sick of the mess it creates. It hasn't faded despite my attempts at removal. Even though the color bleeds with the most minuscule bits of moisture...it refuses to leave! I've shampooed 40 times at least, tried bentonite clay, tried shampoo mixes with lemon juice, and somehow the color became more noticeable.

Normally I wouldn't mind. I'm…
