New Products by Ecoco, Inc.: Eco Custard and Eco-Lesterol

Many naturals know and love the line of Ecoco gels called Eco Styler. Now, the company has recently introduced two new products: Eco Custard and Eco Natural Eco-lesterol.

From what I saw, Eco Custard is currently available in Original (pink top), Argan Oil, and Olive Oil. Similar to the Eco Styler gels, the Custards are alcohol free; however, they provide a flexible hold. If you're familiar with Donna Marie's Dream Curling Creme, the texture is similar to that, but a bit wetter. The fragrance is a fruity-floral. Read the full product description and ingredients below.

Product Claims: Eco Custard Conditioning, Shining & Styling Cream provides superior shine and styling flexibility. Infused with oils and conditioners to protect, hydrate, and nourish your hair. Excellent for taming flyaways, smoothing twist-outs, and ponytails. Safe for daily use on all hair types.

Ingredients (Argan Oil): Purified Water (Aqua), Fruit Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Emulsifying Wax NF, Glycerin, VP/DMAPA Acrylates Copolymer, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Polysorbate 80, Polyquaternium-70 (and) Dipropylene Glycol, Lanolin, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Parfum, Tetrasodium EDTA, d-Limonene, Quaternium-15, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, FD&C Yellow 5.

Eco Natural looks like it's going to be an entirely new line. The packaging touts that it is enriched with 8 essential oils and conditioners. The Eco-lesterol is available in Argan Oil & Shea Butter as well as an Olive Oil & Shea Butter option. The consistency and texture of Eco-lesterol is similar to traditional beauty supply store cholesterol treatments. One that comes to mind is the Lustrasilk Shea Butter & Mango Cholesterol Plus. This treatment has a fruity-floral fragrance similar to the Custard. Read the full product description and ingredients below.

Eco-lesterol Ultra Deep Conditioning Organic Hair Treatment is an after shampoo hair treatment that penetrates and smoothes the hair cuticle to make hair stronger, more manageable, shiny and soft. Also Eco-lesterol helps alleviate dry, itchy scalp.

Though the description says "organic," none of the ingredients are marked as such.
