Use up the Stash: Update #2 (Mini Reviews Included)
|A Peak at the Products|
Here's another installment of "Use up the Stash": I'm making progress, slowly but surely!
Afroveda Curl Define: it's ok; the hold isn't impressive, but it's moisturizing. Not a repurchase.
Crece Pelo Natural Phytotherapeutic Treatment: love this stuff! The one without the water-soluble cone though. The cone-free version is thicker and intensely moisturizing; the one with cones, not so much.
Curl Junkie Smoothing Lotion: this used to work really well for me, then I moved and it became a joke! It's too light, too much glycerin, and not enough slip. It's better when applied on dry hair, but it just doesn't provide enough moisture for me.
Deva Curl No-Poo: I need more of this asap! It's what a cleansing conditioner should be. Gently cleanses and moisturizes all in one!
Eco Styler Olive: good for smoothing edges, slicking down buns and puffs. I could never use it for a wash and go. The hold is too strong!
Elucence Moisture Balancing Conditioner: it's similar to Giovanni Direct Weightless Leave-In. Very moisturizing. I use it as a rinse-out and leave-in. It does foam, so you have to be light-handed.
Oils of Aloha Kukui Oil: it's just ok. I've used better oils and butters on my skin and hair. Not a repurchase.
Organix Repairing Awapuhi Ginger Instant Recovery Mask: Instant recovery? Not really. It's an ok product, but didn't wow me. Some slip, but not the best. Not a repurchase.
