Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Souffle: Experiment #2

Second mixture I tried: Kiss My Face Upper Management Gel and Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Souffle (6:1). I probably could have done 5 parts Kiss to 1 part Shea Moisture, but I wanted avoid that waxy feeling so erred on the side of caution.

I liked the Kiss mix better than the Eco Styler mix. This one provided better definition and longer-lasting hold; my hair still had movement and that first-day crunch was softened with a little moisturizer. I think if I had used more Souffle, there would have been little to no crunch. I redid my top layer at the end of the week, and had no flaking or residue.

Bee Mine Luscious Balanced Moisturizer was my refresher of choice for the week along with Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Oil to seal.

I'd probably redo this mix before doing any others if I weren't running out of Kiss My Face gel. Next time, I'll use more Souffle.
