Influenster Palmolive Fresh Infusions VoxBox 2013

Image
***Note: I received each product complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.***
My sister's review: I tried the lemon thyme scent. Honestly, my sense of smell is not the strongest but to me this smelled like traditional dish-washing soap. It was not anything special. I also sniffed the lemon basil and again the same thing. Secondly, I did not use this soap in the traditional sense. I utilized it to wash my makeup brushes. It did a good job of loosening and removing various cosmetic products like cream foundation and gel liner from the brushes. This soap is also concentrated so I did not go through a lot of it (I go through soap in any form quickly). My hands also did not dry out and turn to prunes after cleaning brushes. Overall, it performed just as well as regular Palmolive. I think the major selling point was supposed to be the scent but again there isn't much difference here from the usual scent.

It's Not Supposed To Look Like This...

***Note: The owner contacted me after seeing this photo on Instagram and offered to send a replacement. Reunited with my beloved HG once again. :)***

Something's not right so in the trash it goes. Qhemet Biologics Amla & Olive Heavy CREAM is not supposed to be a liquid nor separated. Imagine my surprise when I opened it one day, and it spilled all over me. I've had it for a year and a half and had almost finished it, so not too pissed about it going bad.

Review: Coily Head Chick Hair Perfection

Coily Head Chick (CHC) Hair Perfection is described on the CHC site as follows:
Product Claims: Hair Perfection is a multipurpose styler that  works best for Wash & Go's but can be used for Two Strand Twists, Twist Outs or Braidouts.  Hair Perfection will not build up and will rinse clean!Ingredients: Aloe Vera Juice ,Water Infused with Horsetail, Nettle and Marshmallow Root, Olive Oil, Castor, Oil, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E, Agave Nectar, Xanthan Gum, Honey Quat, Optiphen(preservative), ProVitamin B5, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid and Fragrance
Thoughts: A few things I did like: It has a nice fragrance, honey almond. The pump locks and it comes with a separate bottle cap top. The gel has good slip and is light albeit too light for my hair. I thought I liked it at first, but I was mistaken.

Le sigh...I have tried and tried with this Hair Perfection, but it does not work for me. Hot hot mess, that was the result each time. Don't get me wrong, my hair looked decent enough, but t…
