Pre-poo: coconut oil
Detangle: As I Am Naturally Coconut Co-wash
Shampoo: Curl Junkie Daily Fix
Conditioner: Tigi Moisture Maniac (partially rinsed)
Style: after letting my hair air-dry halfway, I applied Qhemet Biologics Amla & Olive Heavy Cream followed by Qhemet Biologics Honeybush Tea Soft Gel. I cornrowed my hair with braids going to the front, sides, and back. I used blue cold wave rods to curl the ends. In the morning, I'll loose the braids out and rock my staple big fro.

As the week goes on, I lose definition and my hair gets bigger (which I love!). For upkeep, I rebraid each night either in single braids or large cornrows. I usually do so on dry hair using only a small amount of moisturizer so that there's less shrinkage. If you prefer more definition, mist hair and use a small amount of gel in addition to your moisturizing product.

I took out my kinky twists on Sunday after a mere 3 weeks. I really did try to get to a month, but it just wasn't happening. Today, I finally got around to washing my hair.

Shampoo: Philosophy Birthday Cake
Protein Treatment: Curl Junkie Repair Me
Moisturizing Treatment: Curl Junkie Deep Fix
Leave-in: Qhemet Biologics Cocoa Tree Detangling Ghee
Sealant: coconut oil
Detangled
Style: blow out, then braided with Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding

I'll be braiding my hair in another month or two, but for now I'm giving my edges a much needed and deserved break.
